Stuart Robinson presents Breakfast on Bangor FM and has been a regualr on the local airwaves acrorss Northern Ireland for over a decade now!

Stuart owns Event Radio Services who are responsible for providing Bangor FM along with sister station Castle FM based in Carrickfergus.

The 27 year old is the longest serving presenter on local commercial station Citybeat, having helped launch the station in 1996. In his full time job Stuart is Citybeat's Deputy Programme Controller but also hosts a number of the stations top programmes including the market leading 'Saturday Night Fever' party show.

Stuart originally from Carrickfergus is the proud father of a 3 year old daughter Holly. He first broadcast in Belfast on BCR in 1995 before landing a regular slot when Citybeat started the following year.

As well as being a familiar voice on the local airwaves, Stuart is strangely even better known by Northern Irelands kids for his ‘Young Star Search’ concept which has travelled the province searching for the best local young talent.

Stuart manages, judges and hosts this event which is Northern Ireland's biggest talent search for kids and since 2002 has been staged in Carrickfergus, from 2004 in Bangor and more recently in Newtownabbey – all supported by the local councils.

Stuart, now a hate figure amongst many of Ulster's kids and their parents is also a popular choice of host at many civic events and celebration plus is a regular DJ at top Belfast night spot – Bar 7 at the Odyssey.

Apart from Music Week he seldom puts his nose between the sheets of a newspaper neither broadsheet nor tabloid.  He does make an exception for the TV magazine, to ensure that he catches each and every episode of Coronation Street of which he is a self confessed addict and can still to this day not forgive ITV for pulling Prisoner Cell Block H off the air before it had finished it's run.
